ALJAZ BABIC MSc in landscape architecture

The design is based on the spatial characteristics of the location and, taking into account the community's needs, establishes a new public open space, creating a new center for the village of Podlipa.

The northern area is paved, featuring a central Linden tree with a circular bench. The paving extends to allow for events and stalls. The large tree serves as a spatial landmark and meaningfully centers the design. Field maples are planted along a new pathway that leads to a small viewpoint on the church hill. The southern area remains grassy, with a new chapel and seating areas, including a drinking fountain. A new bus stop is added along the main road.
